Torrid online customer service may be the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I bought 2 dresses online thinking that if they didn't work out I could return them at the store just like they advertise on the website.

They didn't look good on, so I took them in to the store. I was advised by the sales rep that they could not take my return in the store because I paid with PayPal. I was told I needed to ship them back. This is not what it says online, but ok, I went ahead and shipped them back.

Torrid had received the merchandise back on 7/2/15. Weeks passed and I saw no credit or correspondence. On 7/13/2015 I received an email from torrid that my return was received. it states on the email to allow 2-3 days for process.

On 7/26/2015 I emailed Torrid returns to check status on my 100 dollar return. Finally on 7/27/2015, with no credit and no response received I called customer service. I waited for several minutes to get an agent and she put me on hold for an additional 15 minutes. When she came back she told me the refund was processed that same day.

Although I'm certain it would not have been processed if I hadn't called in, I decided to leave well enough alone. 7/28/15 I received a credit on my paypal acct for $8.72. This was ONLY the tax. I called back customer service and was advised the refund was already processed.

I offered a snapshot of my paypal statement to show there was no credit. Still, I was told to give it another day due to a system change. Today is 7/31 and still no credit and no returns response from Torrid returns.

Please save yourself the trouble of ordering from this site. Not worth the headache

Whatever "system change" this is it's screwing up their customers real bad. They need to go back to the old system.

Today is 8/5 and still no credit for the remaining balance. I keep calling and I keep getting told it takes several days to reflect.

The 8.72 is already reflected in my acct a week ago!

It's the remaining 90 dollars I'm looking for and today we are on business day 7. Clearly the return wasn't processed right
